Application
Mason's or bricklayer's hammer is suitable for mineral research, geological and mineral exploration, etc.
The hammer must be the one used in the sedimentary rock work area, that is, there is an arrow like a duck's beak, and the other end is a blunt flat head.
Collecting fossils depends on the type of dignity of fossils. If they are produced in tabular shale, aluminum coated rock and other rock strata, first use the big head of the geological hammer to knock when collecting. Do not use too much force. If too much force will cause serious rock fragmentation, you should knock gently. If the bedding joint of the rock is relatively loose, you can pry it down with a tip if allowed.
Precautions
1. As a professional tool, mason's hammer cannot be used for general daily applications such as nailing. Improper use will cause damage.
2. Bricklayer's hammer can preliminarily measure the hardness of rock, and judge the hardness of rock according to the reaction of knocking rock.
