Operation method of interchangeable ratchet crimping tool
1.Select the appropriate length for cable dialing
2.Insert the sleeve into the required conductor.
3.Put the terminal into the jaw groove and align it.
4.Then insert the wire into the terminal.
5.Crimp the terminal with pliers.
6.Pay attention to crimping in case there is a second crimp at one crimp.
7.After the crimping, the sleeve that can be sleeved can be sleeved into the cold pressing terminal.
How to identify high quality crimping tool?
Crimping tools are essential tools for making twisted pair connectors. Crimping tools generally have three functions: stripping, cutting and crimping. When identifying its quality, the following aspects should be considered.
(1)The two metal blades used for cutting must be of good quality to ensure that the cut port is flat and free of burrs. At the same time, the distance between the two metal blades should be moderate. It is not easy to peel off the rubber of the twisted pair when it is too large. If it is too small, it is easy to cut the wire.
(2)The overall dimension of the crimping end shall match the modular plug. When purchasing, it is best to prepare a standard modular plug. After putting the modular plug into the crimping postion, it should be very consistent, and the metal crimping teeth on the crimping tool and the reinforcement head on the other side must accurately correspond to the modular plug without dislocation.
(3)The steel edge of the crimping pliers is better, otherwise the cutting edge is easy to have the notch and the crimping teeth are easy to deform.
