Grasp the putty knife flexibly according to the construction object. For the purpose of strong scraping, convenient operation, leveling and filling, the putty knife grip can be divided into direct grip and horizontal grip:
1. When directly holding, the index finger presses the knife plate, and the thumb and other four fingers hold the knife handle.
2. When holding horizontally, the thumb and the center of the index finger hold the scraper near the handle, and the other three fingers press on the knife plate. When preparing putty, the putty knife should be used alternately on both sides. When cleaning the putty scar, hold the handle with your hand.
3. It should be noted that after the putty knife is used, both sides of the knife plate should be cleaned, and a layer of butter should be wrapped with paper for storage to prevent the knife plate from getting damp and rusting.
